Description
Hannyaharamitta is the Japanese transliteration for the Sanskrit Prajnaparamita.
Prajna means "Wisdom" and depending on how you parse the word 'paramita', Prajnaparamita has two possible meanings. Prajnaparamita can mean "wisdom that leads to the other shore" or "perfection of wisdom".
In my study of the Dharma I always come back to the teachings of Prajnaparamita and time and again I brush some new calligraphies of Hannyaharamitta. This calligraphy shows a straightforward semi-cursive version of Hannyaharamitta, 般 han , 若 nya, 波 ha, 羅 ra , 蜜 mi, 多 ta.
