This calligraphy shows the two Kanji for Kaizen. The Kaizen characters are:
改 kai : change
善 zen : good
and together they mean ongoing change for the better or continuous improvement, as it is mostly translated in the West.
The Kaizen kanji are brushed in Kaisho, the regular style of Japanese calligraphy.
